Configuring Gmail to send from your Wharton Lifelong Address rather than your Gmail address

The instructions below will set up your Gmail account to perform your lifetime address in the From field.
Step 1:
If a student's email account is forwarded to your Gmail account, please change your transition back into the account Wharton. Then go to the link http://spike.wharton.upenn.edu, go to My Account, click My Email and follow the instructions.
Step 2: First log into Gmail and select icons Gear.
Step 3: Click on Settings, then select the Accounts tab.
Step 4: In the 'Send mail as:' select Add Another Email You Own.
Enter your full name in the space domain
Step 5: In the E-mail address: Enter the full address of your lifetime delivery. Then click Next Step.
Input the following information:
SMTP.gmail.com
UserName@Wharton.upenn.edu
Wharton Password
Click Add Account.



Step 6: Look for a verification message from Gmail in your email account. This message must have a confirmation link. Click that link and you'll now be confirmed.
Return to Gmail and you will find that address your lifetime now been verified.
If you are emailing your Wharton unforwarded now you can go back in and change SPIKE transition back to Gmail.

Note: This will only work for students with a Wharton operations account for Google account authentication request operation. Once you have graduated from Wharton and your email account has been closed, this option will no longer work. For option after your account has been closed, view An Email Account Configuration sent from your Wharton lifelong Address.
