Download Your Entire Gmail Account

You often use Gmail via the web browser. For one reason or another your account hacked or you forget your password, all emails and contacts can not be deleted or try update. You can load them on your computer. Follow the instructions below
Download a client via POP Mail

If you're using a POP client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird for example, you can download all your mail directly to your computer. This is done by completing the following steps:

Log into your Gmail account.
Click the gear icon underneath your profile picture on the right side of the screen.
Choose install.
Click the tab Forwarding and POP / IMAP at the top of the screen.
Now, you will be presented with options for POP and IMAP. According to POP, you will want to select all mail and keep a copy of your mail in your Gmail inbox.

Once you are done changing the settings, click save and set up your email client accordingly.

First, let's discuss how you can download all your email using a little-known functionality provided by Google. When you create an account, Google provides an easy way to download a copy of your data through the Data Tools.

Follow these steps to download all your data from a variety of Google products, including Gmail.

Go to the tool data by clicking here.
Click image to your profile and make sure the account has to be selected.
Choose a test specified by the green box.
Click the down arrow and select a certain label if you do not want to include all of your messages.
Click Next.
Select the file types and delivery methods. This is a personal preference.
You will need to wait several hours, or even days, as stated by Google to have your data stored and sent to you. Choosing to have a link sent to you via email to download your data is the easiest option. This data will only be stored for a short time, so download it quickly.

Download your Contacts

The contacts you will accumulate in the months and years to use any email service. Remember all contacts can be nearly impossible. Fortunately, Gmail allows you to easily export your contacts by following these steps:

Go to gmail.com
Log into your account.
At the top left of the screen, below the Google logo click Gmail.
Select Contacts.
Click More -> Export.
Select the options from this step. You can choose to download all contacts and select a format that is most suitable for your needs, such as Google, Apple Address Book and Outlook.
